William Henry Troutman, 78 , of Labadie, passed away on October 27, 2022. William, son of the late Melvin Troutman and Marguerite nee Riddle, was born on August 30, 1944 in Princeton, IN. He received his education from Pacific High School, an Associates Degree from Meramec College, and also attended Missouri S&T in Rolla. On March 23, 1968, he was united in marriage to Barbara Warnebold in Labadie.
Mr. Troutman served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army.
Bill worked for United Van Lines as a Data Administrator, until retirement. He enjoyed cooking, reading, volleyball, golf, doing puzzles, gardening, giving blood to the Red Cross, and collecting Farmall tractors.
He was a member of the Labadie United Methodist Church, Friends of Old Bethel, Labadie Community Association, and was the founder of the Labadie Yacht Club.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife, Barbara Troutman of Labadie; son, Ted Troutman and wife Debbie of Labadie; two brothers, Mike Troutman and wife Lanie of Pacific and Bob Troutman and wife Yolanda of Florida; brother-in-laws, Jim Warnebold and wife Carolyn and Charles Warnebold and wife Charlotte; nieces, Kamie Troutman and Lindsay Warnebold; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Old Bethel Church in Labadie. Interment, with full military honors will be at the Bethel Cemetery in Labadie. Memorial contributions can be made to the The Friends of Old Bethel.
