William G. Cronin

William G. Cronin, 96 , of Pacific, passed away on July 10, 2021. Mr. Cronin, son of the late Cornelius Cronin and his wife Lucille nee Young, was born on May 13, 1925 in St. Louis. On June 9, 1951, he was united in marriage to Mary Street in Piggott, Arkansas. He enjoyed watching Missouri Tigers football and spending time with family.

William proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bill Cronin; five siblings, and grandson, Jacob Springer.

Among his survivors are his wife Mary Cronin of Pacific; three children, Kathleen Springer of Pacific, Dennis Cronin of St. Charles, and David Cronin of Hazelwood; siblings, Jack Cronin of Kansas, MaryLou Weber of Belton, MO, Tim Cronin of Belton, MO, Tom Cronin of Belton, MO, and Patricia Saunders of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Heather Bonds and husband Miles, Charity Cronin, Nick Springer and wife Mindy, and Joseph Springer; great-grandchildren, Logan, Miah, and Kaitlyn Bonds, and Chloe Springer; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 9:30-11:30 A.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home. Interment with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 1 P.M. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
