Walter Arnette Obituary

Walter F. Arnette, 87 , of Pacific, passed away on May 9, 2022. Walt, son of the late Ralph “Red” Arnette and Edna nee Brown, was born on December 9, 1934 in Bluford, IL. He received his education from Pacific High School. On September 4, 1954, he was united in marriage to Doris Emerson at the Catawissa Union Protestant Church. Walt was an operator and a member of Local 513.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Arnette; son, Scott Arnette and siblings, Gary Arnette, Bob Arnette, Jim Arnette, Roberta Adams, Oliver Payne, and Margaret O’Brien.

Among his survivors are two sons, Greg Arnette and wife Melanie of Cape Coral, FL and Chris Arnette and wife Anita of Boonville, MO; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be in the Sunset cemetery in Pacific. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
