Shirley M. Rash, 88, of Pacific, passed away on June 11, 2024. Mrs. Rash, daughter of the late Glen Wall and Dorothy nee Alexander, was born on April 23, 1936, in St. Louis. On March 10, 1952, she was united in marriage to Thomas Rash Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three children, Michael Rash, Glenda Serpas, and Jeffrey Rash; brother, Junior Border and his wife Reba Border.

Among her survivors are two children, Thomas Rash Jr. and Melody Rash, both of Pacific; siblings, Joan Wagner and husband Mike of Indiana and Claud Ash and wife Barbara of Sunset Hills, MO; grandchildren, Angel Serpas, Rachael Serpas, Brandon Serpas, Stacy Barron, Joshua Rash, Amy Rash, Jason Rash, Christopher Rash, Thomas Rash III, and Krystina Ickenroth; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rash, Joshua Rash Jr., Abigale Rash, Christopher Rash Jr., Cami Rash, Kinley Rash, Ricky Miller, and Remi Miller; daughter-in-law, Pamela Rash; son-in-law, David Serpas; loved ones and friends.

Shirley loved to spend time with family and friends, especially cooking for them. She also enjoyed sitting outside looking at beautiful flowers and collecting porcelain dolls.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Pacific. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
