Rosalie Snider

Rosalie R. Snider, 89 , of Eureka, passed away on February 25, 2021. Mrs. Snider, daughter of the late George Reese and his wife Grace NEE Higgerson, was born May 15, 1931 in Cutler, IL. She received her Masters Degree from Southern Illinois University. On May 31, 1958, she was united in marriage to Bryan W. Snider in Murphysboro, Illinois.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bryan W. Snider on June 22, 2014 and five sisters.

Among her survivors are two children, Michael Snider and wife Sharon of Malabar, FL and Debbie Hunkins and husband Ted of Pacific; sister, Georgene Garvey; grandchildren, Jennifer Jones and husband Nathan, Bryan Hunkins, Elizabeth Hunkins, Nick Hunkins, Alexa Snider, and Madelyne Snider; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Owen, and Faith Jones; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 5:30-6:30 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 6:30 P.M. Interment will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. Memorial donations can be made the St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
