Palmer A. Lawson,87, of Pacific, passed away on March 2, 2025. Palmer, son of the late Lewis Lawson and Doris nee Davenport, was born on November 19, 1937, in Graham, MO. He received his education from Maryville High School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla. On May 29, 1960, he was united in marriage to Myrna Arms at the Methodist Church in Maryville, MO.
Mr. Lawson enjoyed restoring old cars, especially Model A types, and was known world wide for his achievements. He loved teaching others how to rebuild and car for their cars. But most of all he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myrna Lawson; brother, Delmer Lawson; brother-in-law, Jim Holt and sister-in-law, Jean Lawson.
Among his survivors are his daughter, Diana Landis and husband Steve of San Antonio, TX; sister, Donna Holt of Maryville, MO; grandson, Calvin Palmer Landis of Springdale, AR; loved ones and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on March 20, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. at the Pacific Brew Haus. Interment will be held at the Sunset Cemetery in Pacific, MO. Memorial donations can be made to the Pacific Senior Center.
