Linda M. Schneider

Linda M. Schneider, 74, of Pacific, passed away on March 25, 2024. Mrs. Schneider, daughter of the late John L. Tobey and Zella nee Pemberton, was born on February 7, 1950, in Washington. She received her education from Pacific High School. On August 21, 1993, she was united in marriage to Kevin Schneider in Richwoods, MO.

Linda was a hairdresser in Pacific for over 51 years.  After Linda retired, she enjoyed following her grandson Ryan's career in education, and his coaching career in baseball and softball. She was an avid St.Louis Cardinals fan, but not a fan of John Mozeliak. Family and friends closest to her knew her as Nini, a dearingly inspired nickname inspired by her nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Mary Pilger.

Among her survivors are her husband, Kevin Schneider of Pacific; daughter, Carrie Whalen and husband John of Villa Ridge; two brothers, John Thomas Tobey and wife Lynne of Pacific and Jim Tobey and wife Joanna of Pacific; grandson, Ryan Vogelsang of Columbia, MO; mother and father-in-law, Wanda and Cleon Schneider of Pacific; brother-in-law, Phillip Schneider of Pacific and sister-in-law, Jeanette Hammett and husband Keith of Springfield, MO; nieces, 1 nephew, other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 3-6 p.m. at the Pacific Eagles Hall, small room. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
