Leona M. Viemann, 83 , of Pacific, passed away on September 16, 2019. Mrs. Viemann, daughter of the late Elmer Burt and his wife Anna NEE Mahan, was born May 28, 1936 in Robertsville. She received her education from Pacific High School. On March 27, 1954, she was united in marriage to Nolan Viemann at the Methodist Church. Leona worked for Keys Restaurant, Woolworth’s Dept. Store, and Ralston Purina. She was a member of the Womens Group Local 655, Gray Summit Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Viemann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nolan Viemann, and two children, Mark Viemann and Annette Wilson.
Among her survivors are three daughters, Vickie Mueller and husband Dave of Cedarcreek, MO, Linda K. Bruns and husband Steve of Labadie, and Kelly Franek of Gray Summit; two sisters, Cecelia Huellinghoff of Washington and Sharon Miller and husband Kirk of Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; In-laws, Karen Singleton and husband Raleigh of Arizona; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 4-8 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the Gray Summit Methodist Church, with interment in the Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union. Memorial donations can be given to the Gray Summit Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
