John D. Hawkins

John David Hawkins, 35 , of Dittmer, passed away on September 23, 2021. John, son of the late Roger Hawkins and Sherrie nee Day, was born on February 5, 1986 in St. Louis. He received his education from Pacific High School. John was employed at Spire Gas in St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Doug Dungan and maternal grandparents, Bud and Doris Day.

Among his survivors are his son, Everett Hawkins; two brothers, Reed Hawkins and wife Pam and Josh Hawkins; uncles and aunts, Rick and Tammi Brown, Ross and Shannon McDaniel, and Rich McDaniel;  nephew, Zachary Hawkins and fiance Heather Banderman; niece, Miranda Hawkins and fiance Jeremiah Thomas; great-nieces, Raylynn, Rylee, and Riverly Thomas; cousins, Amelia and Macsen;  other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 12-5 P.M. at the Tri-County Senior Center in Pacific.
