Jeffrey W. Smith, 53 , of Pacific, passed away on May 28, 2019. Jeff, son of Edward “Neil” Smith and the late Margaret NEE Crider, was born January 15, 1966 in Kirkwood. He received his education from Pacific High School in 1984. On September 16, 1989, he was united in marriage to Laura McDaniel. Jeff enjoyed being a math tudor at St. Louis Community College at Wildwood.
Among his survivors are his father, Edward ‘Neil” Smith of Pacific; wife, Laura Smith of Pacific; sister, Jennifer Crider of Gray Summit; In Laws, Cheryl McDaniel of Villa Ridge and Gary McDaniel of Pacific; two nephews, Kyle McDaniel and wife Abby of St. Louis and Zachary McDaniel of Kansas.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Smith.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 11 A.M – 2 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to any Dog Rescue Shelter.
