Edward W. F. Eime,84, of Catawissa, passed away on December 23, 2016 at Mercy Hospital,Washington. Mr. Eime, son of the late Herman Eime and his wife Hulda NEE Mueller, was born October 17, 1932 in St. Louis. He received his education from Pleasant Valley Grade School and graduated from Pacific High School. On January 26, 1952, he was united in marriage to Delma M. Kopsieker at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Louis. Mr. Eime was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Louis, and also a member of the Calvey Promenaders. Ed was a carpenter of Local 1839 and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delma Eime; two brothers, Herman C. Eime Jr. and Robert Eime; three sister-in-laws, Alberta Kopsieker, Darlene Kopsieker, and Virginia Eime.
Among his survivors are one son, Robert L. Eime of Catawissa; one daughter, Corine Roach and husband Robert of Pacific; two granddaughters, Jennifer DeSalme and husband Gene of Crystal City and Pamela Roach and significant other, Dr. Edwin Grant of New York; one great-granddaughter, Audrey Elizabeth DeSalme; brother-in-law, Lloyd Kopsieker of Villa Ridge; nieces, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home, with interment in the Cedar Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating was Daniel Contarini. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials were to the Cedar Grove Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
