Carroll D. Miner

Carroll D. Miner, 91, of Villa Ridge, passed away on December 22, 2022. Mr. Miner, son of the late James Miner and Grace nee Smith, was born on August 1, 1931 in Greeley, MO. He received his education from Bunker High School. On November 6, 1971, he was united in marriage to Ruth Brandt at St. Bridget’s Church in Pacific.

Mr. Miner loved being on the water with his boat. He enjoyed drinking wild cherry pepsi and had a love for all animals. Carroll loved people and never met a stranger. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruby Davis; two brothers, Vernon and Bud Miner and In-laws, Charles Davis and Bonnie Miner.

Among his survivors are his wife, Ruth Miner of Villa Ridge; Amy Fiala and husband Steven of Villa Ridge; granddaughter, Katarina Fiala; other relatives and friends.

A service was held on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, with interment in the St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Pacific. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice.
