Obituary

Betty M. Smith, 76 , of Pacific, passed away on January 22, 2022. Betty, daughter of the late Lloyd Keller and Jennie nee Sukraw, was born on February 20, 1945 in North Platte, NE. She was united in marriage to Leo Smith. Betty was employed as a custodian at the Rockwood School District.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leo Smith.

Among her survivors are two daughters, Cherrlynne Smith and significant other John Vigneault and Lynnett Bowen and fiance Roger Shaw; grandchildren, Aileen Rivera-Smith, Jennifer Rivera, Amanda Zurfluh, and Casey Hoffman; great-grandchildren, William, Skylar, Frederick Zurfluh VI, Leo, Leann, Alias, Nicolae, and Octavia; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Brush Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
