Alice M. Poertner
Obituary
Alice Poertner, second eldest of 9 children of Donald and Rosalie Chase, passed away on September 26, 2022. Alice was born on June 3, 1951 in Peace Valley, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She leaves two sons and four grandchildren, as well as many cousins, niece's, nephew's, and friends from New Jersey to North Dakota to Arkansas to Arizona to Florida and the Czech Republic.
Alice has worn "many hats" in her life. The one most loved are those of mother (Daniel and Timothy) and grandmother (grammy to Ethan, Albany, Emily and Riley).
In Lieu of flowers or other superfluous things, donations can be made to Water Keepers Alliance, Friends of the Earth, World Central Kitchens, Food Bank St.Louis, or Open Door Animal Sanctuary.
