Robert L. Schneider

Robert L. Schneider, 84, of Pacific, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019, in St. Louis. Robert was born on June 12, 1935, to the late Leo H. and Flora R. (nee Heggemann) Schneider and was united in marriage to Beverly A. Mossinghoff on January 29, 1958, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Jennings, Missouri.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 10 am at St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Church cemetery. Friends are invited to visit at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, from 4 until 8 pm. Memorial donations are appreciated to the St. Bridget Scholarship Fund or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Robert is survived by his wife, Beverly Schneider (nee Mossinghoff) of Pacific; five daughters, Mary Hayden of Arnold, Debbie Rumley and husband Bob of Gray Summit, Kathy McKinley and husband Rick of Arnold, Judy Hines and husband Roger of O’Fallon, Missouri, and Sandy Williams and husband Mark of Eureka; two brothers, Cleon Schneider and wife Wanda of Pacific and Dennis Schneider and wife Dixie of Washington; ten grandchildren, Vincent II, Rick III, Ben, Daniel, Jonathan, Meghan, Zach, Lexi, Brianna, and Lyssa; two great grandsons, Jack and Leo; one brother-in-law, Gerald Mossinghoff and wife Jean of Arlington, Virginia; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, JoAnn and Ronald Schneider.
