Richard O. Schlemper

Richard O. Schlemper, 87 , of Pacific, passed away on October 22, 2018 in Washington. Mr. Schlemper, son of the late Arnold Schlemper and his wife Sophie NEE Stricker, was born December 10, 1930 in Pacific. He received his education from Washington High School. On January 15, 1955 he was united in marriage to Billie Miller at the First Baptist Church in Gray Summit. Richard served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army.

Mr. Schlemper was preceded in death by his parents.

Among his survivors are his wife Billie E. Schlemper of Pacific; three children, Deborah E. Brandt and husband Thomas W. of Pacific, Kenneth M. Schlemper and wife Cheryl A. of Pacific, and Karl M. Schlemper and wife Lori M. of Pacific; brothers, Walter Schlemper and wife Therissa of Pacific and Ralph Schlemper and wife Susan of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 4-8 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Gray Summit, with interment in the Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union. Memorial donations are to the First Baptist Church in Gray Summit.
