Lawrence G. Giles

Lawrence G. Giles,95, of Pacific, passed away on September 9, 2018 in Pacific. Mr. Giles, son of the late George Washington Giles, and his wife Ethel NEE Smith, was born August 24, 1923 in Muskogee, OK. He received his education from Porter High School in Oklahoma and the University of Arkansas. On November 24, 1943, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Spriggs in South Carolina. Lawrence was a Principal for the Parkway Central School District and the Meramec Valley R III School District.

Mr. Giles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Giles; son, Larry Giles; brother, Homer Giles, and sister, Martha Jo Davis.

Among his survivors are his son, Frank Giles and wife Carolyn of Robertsville; five grandchildren, Noah Giles and wife Alba, Alexander Giles, Spencer Giles and wife Heather, Christopher Giles and wife Mary, and Elizabeth Geisen and husband Rick; seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Memorial donations are to the American Cancer Society.
