Larry Gilley

Larry R. Gilley, 78, of Pacific, passed away on March 7, 2019. Larry was the son of the late Ivis R. Gilley and wife Lois (nee Ritter). He was born on January 15, 1941 in St. Louis. Larry worked as an electrician and owned his own business, L.R. Gilley Electric.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ivis and Lois; and sisters, Iris, and Judy.

He is survived by his sons, Darin Gilley and wife Michele of Pacific, and Jason Gilley of Villa Ridge; sister, Midge Reder of Venice, FL; grandchildren, Miranda Gilley, Marissa Gilley, and Alex Albertson; great grandchildren, Kane and Quinn Albertson; brother-in-law, John Hunt; and many other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow directly after at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Lake Charles Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Society for the Blind.
