Ellen V. (Jones) Willoughby

Ellen V. Willoughby,86, of Pacific, passed away on September 18, 2018 in Pacific. Mrs. Willoughby, daughter of the late John P. Jones and his wife Helen NEE Friedmann, was born March 27, 1932 in Robertsville. She received her education from Washington High School. On October 12, 1958, she was united in marriage to Carl Willoughby Jr. and Cedar Grove Methodist Church. Ellen was a Rural Mail Carrier for the Post Office in Robertsville.

Mrs. Willoughby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Willoughby Jr. and by a brother, John P. Jones.

Among her survivors are five children, Carl L. Willoughby and wife Kathy of Robertsville, Robert Willoughby and wife Linda of Robertsville, Elizabeth Croitoru and husband Bernardo of CoCo Beach, FL, Mary Boyken and husband Wade of Merritt Island, FL, and Steven Willoughby of Robertsville; two brothers, Art Jones and wife Mildred of Robertsville and Lenny Jones and wife Barbara of Robertsville; sister, Mary Sanderlin of Robertsville; eight grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 9-11 A.M. at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11 A.M. Officiating will be Rev. Earlwood Towne. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial donations are to the Alzheimers Association or the Cedar Grove Methodist Church.
