Carl Willoughby Jr. of Pacific, passed away on May 26, 2018 in Pacific. Carl, son of the late Carl Willoughby Sr. and his wife Annie NEE Wright, was born April 19, 1933 in Crescent, MO. Mr. Willoughby received his education from Pacific High School. On October 12, 1958, he was united in marriage to Ellen Jones at the Cedar Grove Methodist Church in Robertsville. Mr. Willoughby served his country honorably as a member of the United States Navy. Carl was a Carpenter, Farmer, Beekeeper, and loved growing his tomatoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Ovid Willoughby and four sisters, Geneva in infancy, Minnie Murray, Mildred Anselmo, and Iris Vogler.
Among his survivors are his wife, Ellen Willoughby of Pacific; Five children, Carl L. Willoughby and wife Kathy of Robertsville, Robert Willoughby and wife Linda of Robertsville, Elizabeth Croitoru and husband Bernardo of Cocoa Beach, FL, Mary Boyken and husband Wade of Merritt Island, Fl, and Steven Willoughby of Robertsville; Brother, Chester Willoughby and wife Maxine of Peoria, IL; Sisters, Billie Poleski of St. Clair and Lorene Lyle of Summerville, TN; Eight Grandchildren, Two great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 9-11 A.M. at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Robertsville. Officiating the service will be Rev. Earlwood Towne. Memorials are to the Alzheimers Assocation or the American Legion Post 320.
