Loren C. Bates

Loren C. Bates, 59, of Pacific, passed away on April 11, 2024. Mrs. Bates, daughter of the late Blasé Susnic and Sandra nee Patchin, was born on January 19, 1965, in St. Louis. She received her education from Pacific High School and the University of Missouri Rolla. On June 6, 1987, she was united in marriage to Michael Bates in Washington, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father, Blasé Susnic.

Among her survivors are her husband, Mike Bates of Pacific; mother, Sandra Susnic of Pacific; two sons, Mike Bates and wife Kayla of Kirkwood and Jeremy Bates and wife Katherine of Gray Summit; four grandchildren, Bart, Will, Jethro, and Tabitha; brothers and sisters-in-law, Curt Bates and wife Michelle and Gary Bates and wife Lisa; other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Nieburg-Vitt,Thiebes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Pacific. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
